This book intrigued me from its description and reviews. I was not disappointed. Let me warn those who may not like explicit sex in books - this book is NOT for you. This book is almost wholly sexual in nature.
I went through an emotional roller coaster with this book. The author had me guessing all the way to the end. I was gasping, yelling, and rolling my eyes while I was glued to my earbuds unable to stop listening.
The author weaved this story in an art gallery with references to well known and some not easily recognizable paintings. I am not an art connoisseur at all so I had to pause and look these paintings up. The story of Mona and how she became entangled in a death bed promise was alluring. The sexual acts were explicit without being raunchy. About 60% into the book I was fond of the story then, I felt the author totally messed things up with a sharp curveball and kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. Kudos to Tiffany Reisz! She pulled all the entanglements, questions, and expectations back together with a spectacular finish!
Definitely worth a credit!!!
Elizabeth Hart was FANTASTIC! This was the first book I listened to with her narration. I loved her sultry voice. Her male narrations were equally fantastic.
