Teddy Hamilton with his performance in Haunting Adeline was the first dark romance I listened to in audio . He was captivating as Zade Meadows, but as Kade Mitchell ..he deserves a Grammy award. The vulnerability, the raw emotion he and Lucy Rivers portray will have you on the edge of your seat unable to stop.listening till the very last word, then you will be running to start book 3.
Book One is full of flashbacks that Kade is remembering about Stacey ..all their firsts and piece by piece you learn of the tragedy and brutal heartbreak that led to them being ripped apart. The voice mail message Kade leaves at the end of Insatiable had tears running down my face. Book 2 Stacey thinks she is safe half a world away, on the run from the underground criminal ring that has Kade held captive as an escort and assassin.
Kade thinks he has bargained for her safety , but no one is safe when the richest people of power want something.
Leigh Rivers has written a series of suspense, action and a love fiercer than anything you have read before.
If you loved Jeremy Volkov in God of Wrath, Zade Meadows in Hunting Adeline , Tristan Caine in The Predator Kade Michell will jump to the top of your leading men.
This cliffhanger at the end of this book ..you feel Lucy Rivers screams they were carved into my very soul.
