Ann Pearlman has been passionate about writing since the eighth grade. A Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award Nominee and bestselling international writer, she's the author of a dozen books, fiction, nonfiction, memoir, cookbook and three illustrated short stories. Her memoire, His Eyes are on the Sparrow, was part of the inauguration of Shebooks short stories. Her series, The Christmas Cookie Club has been internationally translated . A Gift for My Sister, the second in the series, won a prize for best fiction in 2014. Her most recent novel, The Lottery, the third in the trilogy, follows the adventures of the cookie club ladies when they play the lottery. It's a fantasy for many of us. What secrets are revealed?
