Friendship, Christmas and Baking

This is a must listen every year. Much like the party in the book it kicks off my Christmas season.
It combines all of my favorite things in life, family, friends, Christmas and baking.

Perfect Holiday Tradition

If you listen to one book during the Christmas season, this should be this one. It is well-written and diverse, with a myriad of women stories told beautifully. It leaves you grateful and hopeful.

True to life

This is not a "holly jolly" Christmas book but it is full of joy, tenderness and love. It is a book for those of us who don't have Instagram perfect lives, but still find reasons and strength to celebrate. The true value of girlfriends is spread through the entire book along with great recipes and history on some of our most used holiday ingredients.

Great job

Loved, loved, loved it! A great listening experience. I loved the narrator. She did an excellent job.

Too graphic detail

The last thing I want to hear about in a Christmas story is about still born babies and dead people skewered on rebar! This was all in the first hour, I had to stop before even getting thru the 2nd chapter
