Rebecca C. Mandeville is the pioneering clinical researcher who first identified and coined the terms Family Scapegoating Abuse (FSA) and Family Scapegoat Trauma (FST). As a globally recognized expert on the 'Identified Patient' or 'Black Sheep' narrative, she has dedicated her career to providing survivors of systemic "invisible" abuse with the rigorous clinical tools necessary to deconstruct shame and reclaim an Inviolate identity. Rebecca is also a Certified Complex Trauma Treatment Professional (CCTP) and the author of the seminal text, Rejected, Shamed, and Blamed—the first book to map the link between the family scapegoat role and Complex Trauma (C-PTSD). Currently serving as Principal Researcher for groundbreaking 2026 international studies on the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) and Cardiovascular impact of FSA, Rebecca's evidence-based work is published in esteemed medical and public health journals across Europe and Asia. Rebecca is also the architect of the 'Scapegoat Exit Kintsugi Method for FSA Recovery™'—a targeted clinical protocol designed to repair the physiological and psychological damage of systemic (family) betrayal. Stay connected with the latest clinical findings and recovery strategies by visiting Scapegoat Recovery (dot com). You can also join Rebecca's growing global community on her popular Substack, 'Scapegoat Exit™', where she continues to advocate for the health, dignity, and 'Systemic Immunity' of FSA survivors everywhere.
