I started writing in 2016 after a full-blown breakdown — antidepressants, over a year signed off work, the whole thing. Years later, with a late ADHD (combined type) diagnosis and repeated nudges towards autism assessment, it made a lot more sense. Burnout hits differently when you don’t know your own wiring. Fantasy was my first love. The Raghnall series began it all, and now I’m deep in the darker, sharper Veilbound saga. I also write romantic comedy, because sometimes we need banter instead of bloodshed. No pen names. If I wrote it, my name’s on it. I run on coffee, sarcasm and broody fictional men. I’m a mam to a chaotic little boy with ASD and GDD, and our home includes three dogs, a guinea pig and a hamster. I started writing to survive. Now I can’t imagine stopping.
