I don't wanna leave spoilers... but the last 6 hours or so were a struggle to get through and I'd have preferred ab ending where the author wrapped up the other loose ends... like the dungeons and also I'd have liked certain people to die or bow... and there was a building of the king stopping Leo and not crowning him king but he just did it without struggle? and again WHAT DID THE MOM SAY AFTER SHE HEALED AND DID THEY GO TO THE DUNGEONS

I just loved the world buliding, the characters...the things they do...are awful, but somehow everything is so perfectlly acceptable...really great!

I am in with the absurd, ridiculous and over the top everything in this “story”, but it was way longer than it should have been which made it repetitive. There’s barely any plot or character depth or world building, but let’s be honest, who’s reading this book for the plot anyways? ;) There’s so many unhinged stuff happening, I feel the author should’ve embraced the absurd more instead of trying (and failing) to be serious. But I had a good time listening to this book, not going to lie. It’s just that it’s one of those bad-good books, lol

I had to DNF halfway through. It drags on and on and reminded me of a Junior High romance. The writing was really flowery, think Nicholas Sparks meets Monster High. I may finish it someday, but am definitely glad I only spent $4 on it and didn't waste a credit

I didn’t just listen to Kiss of the Basilisk… I devoured it, lived in it, and now I’m emotionally homeless because it’s over. The tension? Delicious. The spice? Reckless in the best way. The characters? Crawled under my skin and set up camp. Every chapter left me bargaining with myself — “just one more” — until suddenly there were none left, and I’m staring at my Audible library like a heartbroken ex. Five stars for the ride of my life, minus a thousand imaginary stars for ending.
