But as every good hockey player knows, a rebound can turn into one hell of a goal.

I really enjoyed this book! Chandler was the best for Amelia and what she needed after her divorce. I always enjoy Toni Aleo’s books and this one did not disappoint! I will say though the FMC narrator was hard to get in to, but I eventually got over it.

Story line

This was a good story. The story line of an abused woman who found love is very encouraging.

Good Start

This was a good start to the spin off series and a nice revisit to some familiar characters. narration was done well.

Beware if you are an Adoptee

This is a cute story its fun and flirty until you find out the LMC is adopted and its not handled with any sort of care, authenticity, or truth. From name changes to adopted dad “Knocking up Birthmom” as a joke because he looks like a-dad, to calling birthmom
A crack head, and lucky adoptee trope abounds. Its clear this author didn't do any research about adoption truama from an adoptee’s perspective. It just feels like it was unnecessary and handeled with absolutely no care or awareness.

Love this story!

I love the male narrator but the female was a bit whiny. I got used to it and loved the story of Amelia and Cameron.
