Loved it!

Great storyline. Well written. Strong characters. Narration was awesome. Overall I really enjoyed it. Some thrillers have whiny characters, unrealistic situations, characters making incredibly stupid decisions. I have to say I didn’t do an eye roll once. :)

Couldn’t stop listening!!!

This novel is fantastic! It has such great character development and a captivating plot that kept me hooked from the minute I hit play. The writing is so well done, you would think Daphne had been publishing written works her whole life. She really brought all of the characters and places to life, making me feel immersed in the story and the characters’ emotions. I ended up reading this in one sitting and the only downside is that this book ends. Please continue writing, I can’t wait for your next hit Daphne!

Decent Read

Good for first timers, I think I was expecting some element of surprise which felt missing. Like the suspense build up towards the end of the story.

Nice back and forth in time narrative, made me feel like I was a part of the investigation team.

Great first book!

I love the small accurate details, like the pink donut box. The setting is Portland, OR so you know it’s voodoo donuts.
I really enjoyed the story. I couldn’t predict the twist.
