Only by delving into the past will the future be revealed.

Cam and Naomi have been swept into the past when humanity ruled the world. In an ancient city they must past the first trial that Alana has set into motion. What more, they will learn of the Helltide, an event that brought about the cataclysmic end to the ancient race.

One trial will not be enough to prepare Cam for the future however. He and Naomi must explore what it means to be mates with the powers of the World Phoenix. Not to mention the warfront is progressing into the beastkin empire. Brazzen is seeking aid and turns to Cam and Brycen, hoping that he won't lose everything.

With the demons converting all they take captive, their numbers are nearly unlimited. With Creator behind the wheel, she will stop at nothing to kill Cam and end the line of the World Phoenix. For he is the only hope the world has to prevent another catacylsm.
