A wonderful mature romance

I absolutely love this story. It’s a wonderful depiction of adult romance. Great depictions of mental health and coping. The love and second chance just make you melt.

100% Would sob to again!

I was not expecting to ugly cry, start to regain my composure and then get hit with more FEELS! ...all in the best way.

This series is wonderful. I can't wait to see what's next!

From the synopsis, you might think this is a fairly angsty book; it’s not. There are some very emotional moments that might make you cry - I did - but it isn’t really angsty. What it is, though, is a beautiful book about second chances, understanding, and family. The emotions from both MCs are valid (no random moments that throw them off track just because) and their responses to situations are appropriate. This has very real mental health representation, as well as showing the emotional impact on loved ones. I highly recommend this book - and the entire series - you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait for the next one. The narration by JF Harding and Kale Williams helped give the story more layers that I wouldn’t have gotten from my own mind if I’d have read it, so I do suggest the audio is a must.
