never knew flowers could be so duckly

a little different take as our MC isn't the one who came from another world, however, save and works with 2 that came from earth for unknown reasons why. with plots against the king, and our MC becoming the new royal healer while being blackmailed by the princess. a fun ride and can't wait to read the next book when it came out and see where it goes

Loved it

I really enjoyed this book, the pacing was good and always had me on my toes. I really enjoyed the world building and how magic and power works in the world. I'm am very ready for the next book and cannot hope it'll come any sooner.

Interesting premise

Good start. The is some good fantasy world building with an interesting magic system. There are also some isekai elements too. I liked that the MC was an older guy. I guess I have encountered too many you MCs lately. The story was engaging and I definitely want to visit this series again. The narration was well done.

Too many details

So much talking and banter that you can easily zone out. And in some cases events are skipped. For example how does this person know this person? Who cares let's just over explain and talk nonsense for 25 min. This narrater tends to read books of this style. Just over explaining and adding TOO many details to EVERYTHING. Can be too much. That is it's only flaw really. It's cool if your driving long distance or taking a long flight and can just close your eyes and listen.

Just know that it's 20 something hour is due to loooong conversations.
