Lutz has finally made his heroic return to Orakio's capital city of Roshar. The fiends didn't appreciate his interference in their assault on the capital, leading to an assassination attempt on Lutz's life. However, a mysterious power deep inside him saved his life, despite having his heart ripped out.

Now, Lutz has finally made it his mission to deal with the forces of Chaos that have spread throughout the world. But before he can take on the Archfiends, he needs to grow even more powerful. A trip to another dungeon is in the cards, as well as a profitable business venture right in the center of the capital city itself.

Book 7. took a bit to remember characters because I haven’t listened in a bit and audio quality was a bit poor in places.

Book 8. audio was better quality good story. No complaints about this one.

Book 9. the beginning of chapter 4 has some strange noises like snapping and a few messed up lines kind like it’s unedited

Over all I really enjoyed the books and am looking forward for the next set to release.

Good but needs better editing

I love that it is still about the story. It hasn't fallen into a harem cliche or become a story about an OP MC being OP on everything.

Not that he isn't powerful. Just by no means the most powerful.

I do miss the MC being clever. This book set had a lot more combat and much mess creativity and creating. Less adorable banter as well.

But it still had it. And I still loved it.

Can't wait for the next set.

Still fun
