Loved the story

I actually enjoyed the book. It was different and had some twists in it. I’ve liked the books I have heard on audible from both the author and narrator.

Amazing Premise and Story Telling

I love the way this author writes, and the narrator’s accents for each character. I’ve listened to just about all of his books on audible and haven’t found a dud yet.

A perfect blend

This was the perfect recipe of historical fiction, mythology, and folk horror with the talent to cook it into something awesome. Great character development, vivid settings and imagery, and I loved the WWI combat parts. It's hard to find good horror, but Hoover is at the top of my list these days. Definitely check out his other work if you enjoyed this one.
