Fully dramatized by best-selling narrator Steve Cook, with cinematic music and sound effects, this unabridged re-telling of Dickens' classic Christmas tale has something for everyone. All the sounds of 19th-century London are captured, from clopping hooves on cobblestones to booming Westminster chimes at midnight to the supernatural comings and goings of Scrooge’s four nocturnal visitors. Plus, a complete soundtrack of suspenseful and seasonal music throughout puts the finishing touches on a true, old-fashioned radio theatre-style experience. Steve's abridged dramatization of A Christmas Carol is also available everywhere. "God bless us, every one!"

We listen to A Christmas Carol every year but we all agreed this was head and shoulders above all the other versions to date. Expertly dramatized and the attention to detail supurb

My kids and I listen to the Christmas Carol every year for Christmas. We listen to a chapter or 2 each night for bed. This is the third version we have listened to and I think it’s my favorite. The kids gasped and cried. They even startled once at the special effects and ghost sounds :)

A "Scrooge", who doesn't even sound old, and who also speaks with no British accent, but an American accent instead, simply doesn't cut the mustard with me.
