An amazing surprise

Another terrific Anne Perry Christmas mystery that is eye -opening. This is a real gift to the reader,
and Perry's characters continue to surprise.

Awesome

Well written story. Claudine is one of my favorite characters in the William Monk series and Mr. Robinson is one of the most colorful. The story is a peek into Claudine's world . How it works and how she navigates her way through it all.

Loved this one!

I understand why folks say this one is their favorites. Once again Anne Perry weaves a story of characters who are challenged to be brave and to dig deep within themselves to reveal their best selves all in an uplifting story line, rich with descriptive prose that draws the reader in. Happy Christmas and thank you Ms. Perry.

Different yet heartwarming

It seems an oxymoron to describe a murder mystery as heartwarming yet this one is.
