Immediately purchasing book two

Started this audiobook because I needed something to listen to while I got things done, however found myself so quickly drawn in to the fascinating plot and warm characters.
There were definitely times the main character made choices that drove me crazy, but on a much deeper level, found I actually appreciated the “humanity” and realism of it. Seems strange to say about a fantasy novel, but I look forward to the next book and hearing how the MC grows.
Were there bits that were predictable? Yes, but most books are and this one was well written. An absolute delight as a debut novel by Steinbrecher and found myself more caught off guard than figuring out what was to come.

And the narrator was absolutely tremendous. Well done!

Beautiful Audio and Story

I immediately purchased book 2. First, the audio by Ali Dane is superb. She offered this audiobook in exchange for a review, and I’m now a huge fan. She has a soft feminine voice that is not grating to the ears, as so many voices often are to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed her telling. The book itself is also stellar - I rarely give 5 star reviews, and this was so good. Enemies to lovers, slow burn, escaping a tragic past, forbidden love, and hopefully redemption in book 2… this book has it all! Highly recommended!!!

Enchanting read!

I'm a fan of the supernatural and all shifter stories and I found the author's idea of mixing a clan of wolves and powerful witches intriguing. The narrator did a fabulous job bringing the characters and storyline to life. As I listened to Emma Steinbrecher's spellbinding story, I became more and more hooked. I highly recommend this to all lovers of great story telling and great writing. I'm looking forward to the next book!

very enjoyable listen

very well written book. enjoyed the mystery to the storyline, who is she, why is she important, what can she do, what happened to her parents, etc. the plot being revealed over time, keeping you intrigued with the characters and wanting to know more.

Must Read

This is such an amazing story, I loved the characters, they felt real. I loved the plot. I loved the characters growth and changes. It’s a must read!
