I just haven’t been the biggest fan of the audio…

I love the storyline of this, which is why I’ve kept pursuing this series. I just am struggling with the audio voices. I wish that they had switched between male and female between each person, not just chapter perspective. Each quote deserved to be interpreted by the separate narrator, not just switching each chapter.

I'm hooked

This is my second book of this series this week it had me listening Non-Stop. What a wonderful spicy book can't wait for the next audio to come out definitely worth your time.

Such a good story!

I absolutely loved this second book in the Wicked Darlings series following favorites Fin and Clara, as well as some new characters, Alice, Caer, and Riordan. How things left off is shocking to me and definitely makes me want to read the next just to see what happens next! I do really wish the audio had been a duet instead of recorded separately; it would've been nice for the male voice actor to actually voice all the male parts regardless of POV instead of just while in Fin's POV. It just made it weird and made me cringe so many times. The female narrator's voice wasn't what I would've chose for these characters, but I wouldn't say either of them did a terrible job. It was decent for how it was, but I'm definitely glad I read along on KU.
Overall, this was a super interesting and unique take on Alice in Wonderland and I'm excited to see what comes next for Alice and Dorothy.

I love this series

I loved this book. It’s delicious but a bit twisted. The references to the original story sprinkled throughout and how they are cleverly used to enhance the story were masterfully done. I loved the continuation of Clara and Phineas was a treat. I loved Alice’s story and can’t wait to see what happened next between her, the rabbit and cat. Truly fantastic series.
