It’s from Charlie's perspective and takes place between books 3 and 4 of the main series. This is a companion novel, NOT a standalone, although the love story is resolved in this book.

Sweet Little Christmas Interlude!

I always love it when side characters get a romance too! This is Charlie's story, and it is a sweet love story set in the middle of the main series. Ash has a troubled past and it was nice to watch these two learn to trust each other through banter together and with friends during the Holiday. Zachary Zaba was definitely a great narrator for these two sweethearts.

Oh my goodness I absolutely love this audio book. The characters are some of my most favorite ones ever. I really enjoyed the storyline a lot. I have love this series and this family. I highly recommend this book and the series.

Now I need to go find Hayden and Logan’s story because this sweet story lured me back into this world!

In this book, we get treated to Christmas in the pride house with windows into several characters' romantic relationships, especially that of Ash and Charlie's.  The story is mostly from Charlie's POV, sandwiched by chapters from Ash's POV.  I enjoyed the audiobook version, narrated expertly by Zachary Zaba.
Because the story takes place during the holidays, it is a lighter, fluffier tale of life in the pride's household. In fact, this is Michele Notaro doing what she does best, world building with completely developed characters and minute details about their daily interactions and their relationships. It is a sugary sweet recounting of the first real Christmas celebration for the Magi living in the house, thanks to Charlie's enthusiastic planning.
I received an audiobook copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Excellent listen!

Char and Ash’s story is so cute! I love the two trips that Char made to the rescue. This series is so darn good and this one was no exception. Kudos.
