Piper Lawson captures what it means to really experience first love with Tyler and Annie’s friends to lovers relationship!! Their chemistry and honesty really invests you in what the final result will be for them!! I love that although they have separate dreams, it always leads to the same path. They are always so considerate of one another, even when they’re apart or life gets in the way! Teddy Hamilton and Rose Dioro bring their story to life by allowing the listener to hear the emotions and vulnerability of the characters! Looking forward to more!!

Heating Up

Things are really heating up between Tyler and Annie. We even got some steamy moments. And they’re both finally giving in to their feelings. Other than Jax still being a jerk, everything is good. Of course, it was all going too well. I knew there would be a cliffhanger and there was enough foreshadowing to indicate what would happen. Yet, it still felt a little cliché. A little too convenient to the story. A little cringey. But it did have me going immediately to the next book, so I suppose it was ultimately effective.

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 Amazing Series!

Piper Lawson continues to wow me with the second book in her “Rivals” series, a continuation of Tyler and Annie’s story, so be sure to start the series with the first book, “A Love Song for Liars”. This book, like the first, grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire time. We watched Tyler crush Annie’s heart in the first book, but fate is not done with these two and they find themselves in each other’s lives again. Annie attended the college she auditioned despite knowing Tyler was in the same school, she figured it was big enough and they probably would not cross paths, right? Going to this school is a great opportunity for her and it is something she wants to pursue even without her father’s support. What he does not know can not hurt him, right? Wrong on both accounts, the school may be large, but those who are majoring in the same field cross paths frequently and it does not take long for them to wind up back in each other’s life. Tyler realizes how much of a mistake he made leaving when and how he did, he wants to make things right, but will Annie let him? Annie grew up so much in the time he had not seen her, but he still sees her old sweet self within her. These two were great together and for each other, they made a great team and beautiful music together. There is never a dull moment in this book, it is a wonderfully written and plotted story with the perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and a romance that was years in the making. That ending, oh my, you are mean Piper Lawson, but I am looking forward to what happens next. Thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

Their understanding and portrayal of these characters is spot on and I am loving how they re taking each role and making it their own. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the character’s emotions and have you feeling every single one. These wonderfully talented narrators are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

That ending!

Oh man, what a cliffhanger! I have been so invested in Annie and Tyler’s story and I’m so ready for the next book.

After leaving Annie without a goodbye, the two have crossed paths again at college. The feelings they both have are still very much there. But certain things are keeping them apart until they work together on a showcase.

Gosh, I just love their chemistry. I love how they started out as friends in the Wicked series and their relationship has just grown so naturally into something more. Annie trying to find her way out of her Dad’s spotlight is so admirable. And Tyler, He’s just so perfect. I can’t wait to start the next book.

Teddy Hamilton and Rose Dioro are just so perfect as Tyler and Annie. I love listening to each of them separately and love listening to them together even more.

This story was perfect! Super cliffhanger but that was expected! I can’t wait for the release of the next audiobook! I have always loved Annie and Ty since the first books with her Dad. I’m glad to hear their story and watch them grow! Well written and the actors were amazing as always!
