Can the city girl win the village sweetheart?

Single since forever, Natalie Hill has all but given up on love. She's convinced herself and everyone else she wants a quiet life. But if a tall, dark and gorgeous stranger turned up on her doorstep, her plans might change...

Enter Ellie Knap, who's jump-starting her life in the Cotswolds after bailing on her relationship and her career. Her plan? To open an ice cream shop and melt into the village.

When the two meet it's far from love at first sight, but then slowly, they become friends. Then one night, on a moonlit bridge, everything changes...But can Ellie pack up her old life in time to embrace the new? And can Natalie hold on tight when her quiet life suddenly gets deafeningly loud?

This storyline was such a cute and sweet listen. The MCs were alluring and darling because they had a little drama but not to much. Loved the later in life parent coming out which we don't see or hear about enough and it's something more common then I think people realize. All around great writing and narration!

Sweet and interesting

When you assume and lack communication, one puts themselves through unnecessary heartache. This part of stories drives me nuts, as I've always been any honest and top the point person, even though I'm an ambivert more towards the introvert side. While parts of MC's personalities irritate me, and the mispronunciations of Italian foods was grating to my ears, it's a quaint story with decent narration.

I absolutely adore this sweet lesbian romance series- what a charming peek into life in the Cotswolds!

Charming Cozy Romance

The kind of small town some of us wish we could discover and thrive in some day! (The perfect antidote to backward small town I've been merely surviving in lately.)

Sweet story - light hearted yet above average for this genre

As the 3rd in the series
Was cute
Enjoyed the main characters
Their shops
Imagining the town etc
Didn’t believe the drama
Took too long to resolve for what appeared to be such an intense connection beforehand
