This title uses virtual voice narration

Virtual voice is computer-generated narration for audiobooks.
Jacquelyn Wilkes is a nurse forged from tragedy, determined to save others from the same pain. But when the enigmatic Dr. Jonah Martin arrives at the clinic, her carefully constructed world begins to unravel. Despite his warm nature with patients, the handsome doctor maintains a cool distance with the nurses, fueling Jacquelyn's mistrust. But when she discovers a malignant lump in her own breast, Jonah is the ally she never expected to find in the fight of her life. Yet beneath his thoughtful gaze lies a secret turmoil, and when past accusations come back to haunt him, Jacquelyn must find the strength to heal her doctor's wounds.

This was an emotional story. I loved it! The Virtual Voice was good too. Done better than some of the Virtual Voice I have listened to even though none of them have been bad.

I did not like how the voice or narrator did not really change with different characters. I was confused as to who was talking when and if it was a man or a woman.

not very good narration

Not a fan of virtual voice. It was at times difficult to know when there was a change as to who was speaking.

I’m not a big fan of stories in which the couple starts off as enemies. Readers who enjoy that trope will enjoy this story. I thought the reason the hero moved often was a little thin. I don’t mind Virtual Voice narration, but it does give the reader a start when words are mispronounced or the tone of voice of the narration is at odds with the text.
