A word about Virtual Voice: It is not my favorite. However, I am a slow reader and audio helps me move through books at a more comfortable pace. VV is an affordable means of making books accessible to a broader audience. Once you become accustomed to it, it’s not so bad. I like the different accents used in this series to help ground the reader in time and place. I might have held off on reading a four-book series without the audio. I truly appreciate the availability of an audio version.

Enjoyed the story

I enjoyed the story, but the computer generated narrative is annoying at times and very distracting.

Loved the story, but not the virtual voice

Eventually I could ignore the virtual voice as it sounds more human like then others, but I couldn't help but cringe at the mispronunciations and weird inflections at times. Great story though!

Intriguing tale

I love how Angela Hunt weaves a story together. I can’t wait to listen to the next book in the series!
