The first audiobook in a new young adult line that asks listeners: What if classic Disney fairy tales had happened a little bit differently?

When Jafar steals the Genie’s lamp, he uses his first two wishes to become sultan and the most powerful sorcerer in the world. Agrabah lives in fear, waiting for his third and final wish. To stop the power-mad ruler, Aladdin and the deposed Princess Jasmine must unite the people of Agrabah in rebellion. But soon their fight for freedom threatens to tear the kingdom apart in a costly civil war.

What happens next? A Street Rat becomes a leader. A princess becomes a revolutionary. And readers will never look at the story of Aladdin in the same way again.

The first installment of the “twisted tales“ series ask the question “what if Jafar got the lamp instead of Aladdin?”

This unique tale takes that Disney classic and shows you exactly what happens. Princess Jasmine must rise up as a rebel leader to reclaim her throne and Aladdin must use his wit (not his magic carpet or genie) in order to aid her in her rebellion.

Be for warned, some beloved characters do die

What if Jafar got the lamp?

I tried so hard to like this book. I kept telling myself that it has to get better. Right? The narrator ruins the book just the same. Every time I come across his books I cringe.
Why does every sentence become a "question" with his narrative? The end of every sentence he reads drives me crazy. The story line everyone knows so why kill it again,?
