As an avid Iliza fan I was blown away by her second book. As a fellow elder millennial I have never related to a book more. Hearing her read the book was such a highlight as opposed to just reading it myself. Listening to her perform her book must have been exhausting, but by the end I was even more in love with her standup than before. I can’t want to listen again. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I love her comedy, her intelligence, and her fearlessness.

The delivery of the audio book seemed a bit rushed and intense. On stage her sharp and outrageously funny bits require her to pause in between them for the audience response. Without that, it got a bit overwhelming, like so much was coming at me non-stop. Still I loved her girl logic, her silly asides, and her brilliant observations and rules for being human.

Perspectives of a Highly Intelligent Person

Illiza is the zeitgeist of my generation and a voice of reason in these divisive, turbulent times. She combines comedy with clarity in such a way that takes reality and makes it as palatable as a stunning mountain vista. I thoroughly enjoy her specials, her in-person comedy shows, and, now, her books.
