"Serena is beautiful, yes. But I only pursued her because she reminds me of Lilith. All this time, I’ve been chasing Lilith’s shadow in her."
That night, her hands shaking, Serena dialed the number she had vowed never to use again.
“Father,” she whispered, barely audible, “I’ll return home. I accept the arranged mating.”
At the grand gathering of the packs, Damian’s blood ran cold. The woman who entered was no longer the meek wolf he thought he controlled, but the rightful Alpha heiress of the Winters pack—the most powerful lineage in the northern territories. His world cracked at the sight.
On the night Serena had first fled her ancestral home to escape that very fate, Kael Stormborn—Alpha of the feared Stormborn pack—had watched her with unreadable eyes. “Liv,” he vowed, voice like thunder restrained, “one day, you’ll return to me willingly.”
Whispers painted the Stormborn Alpha as ruthless, untouchable, incapable of desire. Serena had believed them all. Until the moment she discovered just how dangerous—and devastatingly passionate—Kael Stormborn could be when the world’s eyes were not upon him.

Besides missing half the story, the name of the main character and some other minor characters kept changing. It’s as if two different versions of the same story were going on. Kind of reminded me of those terrible story apps that are on iPhone Apps (Chinese, Korean, India, etc.) that let you read part of the story and then demand a high price to read the rest of the story. The writing or the translation to English is also very poorly done.
