Worth the read

Love a strong/badass FL! The King is an idiot but he redeems himself in the end. I wish she waited longer to let him back into their lives but it all worked out. I also loved the side characters and the found family trope. that tidbit at the very end was an odd addition but overall, the story was satisfying.

Entertaining

Overall, the story was entertaining. I didn’t particularly care for the virtual voice. It sounded weird, especially during the sex scenes. As for the story, I thought it was rather silly that the MMC didn’t recognize the FMC as his mate because of his anger. He was supposed to be a powerful alpha with these super werewolf powers, yet he couldn’t recognize his mate? Didn’t make much sense. I also thought there was a lot going on, what with the supernatural trafficking ring and Julian having to go on his royal tour.

Besides all that, I finished the book, and it kept my attention. I have no doubt it would have been better without the virtual voice.
