Decent story. AI narration isn’t the best, but it is a free book to listen to. Good little twist at the end of the story.

Held your attention

Loved the ending. Good storyline. Kept your attention. Not sure I could have forgiven the king for what he did.

The "king" is an idiot

Yup, the king is an idiot. This storry is bad. The story had a lot of potential but the fact that the king is an idiot is what stood out the most. Also a Alpha king that has no power is not a king at all.

Good story but long

The king was weak, lack of strength and confidence. I think she forgave him too quickly. She suffered too much. Everyone was mean to her. The king was a poppet. The consulars were in charge of the kingdom not the king.
