When 17-year-old Camden James runs from an abusive father in New Jersey, he falls right into the clutches of another vile beast. But as chance would have it, after a few of life’s tough lessons and a couple of brushes with death, Camden discovers his true identity.

Camden Grows, Angel Knows

Narrator was quite good overall!!

There are two main characters in this story, Camden and Angel.

Camden is a young man who leaves an abusive home life trying to figure out just what kind of man he's going to be. All he knows for certain is how to survive in the wilderness and that he refuses to be like his biological father.

Angel, on the other hand, already has his life figured out! He's kind, a loner and a reiki-style healer with a gnostic view of humanity's humours and health, both physical, mental and spiritual! Angel has a home base in Colorado with White Dove, a native American healer in her own right.

These two men will eventually meet because their lives will eventually mirror each other's. They could even eventually become a sort of team, but Camden's got some growing up to do first!

Lots of action, limited profanity, and a romance between Angel and White Dove that means it's not a squeaky clean read. The primary villain is Abe (Abaddon, if you recognize the name, you'll get the direction correct). Great lead in to the next book.
