What pleasure!

I think that Peter Grainger & Gildart Jackson represent a perfect pairing of brilliant writing & superb voice acting. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

Excellent storyline and excellent writing

I have read and or listened to the entire DC SMITH and Kings Lake series and this was one just as well laid out as all the others. And the narrator, Gildart Jackson captures the characters perfectly. I have fingers crossed that one of these two series will continue to have further books for me to follow in the near future. He can’t write them quick enough for me.

Another Girl…Another Peter Grainger gem.

After the character development that spaned the Kings Lake books, the characters all came together in full form on this suspenseful excellent book.

Characters grow

The characters in this series evolve and grow. They are never stale. The “origin story” character, DC, plays an ongoing role in memories which keeps a beloved character in play. The author writes believable people who are distinct voices. It’s a pleasure to feel the characters change. Gildart Jackson is perfection in his narration.

Another Girl : another great listen

I always look forward to a story from King's Lake Central. I particularly enjoy this one being centered on Serena.
I do miss Smith, but I've grown very fond of all his proteges as their lives develop after his retirement.
