The apocalypse has been and gone. Now, Bain Lee and his faction are setting out to escape the Crucible and what has become of Earth.

Nor was Earth the only world brought into the Crucible. Bain gathers allies from across numerous diverse species, each with their unique classes and powers. But it's the other humans posing the greatest threat.

Bain's brother, Tommy, a former Triad member, has his own faction of bloodthirsty members. With Tommy's Warlord class, even the lowest-level players pose a danger to Bain and his faction.

The world has ended, but this new world is the same as it was before. Power is everything.

It'll mean stealing more spells with his Ocularist class, acquiring and crafting gear with unique properties, and facing deadlier dungeons than ever before.

Pretty good!

Sometimes the story just doesn't have the loss and hardship you would expect. The progression is good though and the world building was ok but had more fights than descriptions of the area. So hopefully the next book comes out soon. I held off on the first book due to reviews about the MC being to dark or just to mean. I wonder how much did they read of the story. his attitude was very well understandable considering the nature of the event and the companions he was forced to be with for survival. I really just think you can't trust reviews good or bad. Just try a book and return it if it was lame. My two cents. Thank you for the story and the narration.

captivating and innovative

very interesting take on the whole isekai literpg genre. unique mechanics and interesting storytelling. protagonist is pretty aggro and stubborn,, but thats a nice change of pace from the limp wristed stuff you get sometimes

Puppy power

Good story but not great...still better than anything I could do myself...found it was fast paced with alot going on...but could really emotionally attach myself to the characters...still a good journey tho.

Can't get enough of this series, am looking for more in it, the characters are great. the descriptions and explanations are amazing.
