The final Cycle has begun.

All David ever wanted was control over his own life. But as the thrill of battle fades, he finds himself caught in the web of powers far greater than anything he imagined.

To earn his freedom, he needs strength—and strength he gains, throwing himself into one brutal challenge after another. Even as blades and supernatural forces tear into his body, he pushes forward.

He’s no longer alone.

Allies stand beside him as enemies rise to stop him. Gods take notice—some even request his aid.

Just when it seems like things are finally getting better in Arc, everything falls apart.

A deadly Curse spreads. The sky shatters. And the life they’d just begun to rebuild is stolen away.

Not even those David loves are spared.

He can’t bring back the dead. Not even the strongest Healer can.

But he can restore broken bodies, crush Curses through sheer will, and fight with everything he has to survive.

Even if that means going head-to-head with the spawn of divine beings themselves.

But will it be enough?

Book 2 of this this action-packed Apocalyptic LitRPG featuring a healer MC who isn’t afraid of a fight, slow-burn power progression, a detailed magic system, and more.

Perfect for fans of Azarinth Healer, Primal Hunter, and Unexpected Healer.

if you enjoyed the first, you'll enjoy the second. I had a few problems with what I'll call the final act. To avoid spoilers, our MC gets a quest that he fails. I have no problem that he failed, but the reason why he failed and what leaf him to fail makes no sense to me. The people that caused him to fail shouldn't have been there, and it just felt like the author didn't want him to have the reward. The best way to put my other problem is that he uses a skill he got earlier in the book and instead of it just doing what he wants it to do the skill goes above and beyond giving him what he needs to conquer the final hurdle and come out relatively better than before. It doesn't feel like a deus ex machinations since everything was set up right it just seemed odd that the skill was acting on its own, and the MC just shrugs. I get there was a battle going on, but dude, that shit is not normal and should have freaked you out at least enough to want to deal with it later instead of just accepting it.

mostly great

Wrestling with your conscience is a problem in story telling and its irritating when it happens again and again and again. But the characters are unique in their own way and the battles are awesome. Growing stronger and new stats and skills are cool and its progression is steady. Maybe David finds love and a battle buddy in book 3!
