Audiobook 2 of the Archaon Duology

Once a devout Sigmarite templar, the warrior now known as Archaon has fallen fully into the grip of Chaos. As his quest for the artefacts of the Everchosen intensifies, dark forces surround him, some seeking to aid him, some to seize his destiny for themselves…

LISTEN TO IT BECAUSE

This is where Archaon truly becomes the ultimate Warhammer villain. As he faces the darkness within himself and the forces that seek to shape his destiny, Archaon's struggle provides us with a compelling portrait of a Chaos champion.

THE STORY

Archaon – the former templar of Sigmar now dedicated to the Ruinous Powers – continues his quest to claim the six great treasures of Chaos and bring death to the world as the Everchosen of the gods. As he travels the world, from the southern Chaos Wastes to the verdant lands of Bretonnia, Archaon faces unimaginable perils and devastating betrayals. And all the while, Be'lakor, the first daemon prince, plots and awaits his chance to destroy the would-be Everchosen and claim his mantle as Lord of Chaos and harbinger of the End Times.

Story makes you empathize with Archaeon on a level I didn’t think was possible. Very good book.

Perfect Follow up to the first book.

Archaon makes some seriously stupid decisions that dont make sense. Randomly zoning out before key fights. Deciding to take his sweet time reveling in his new toy while in an extremely dangerous situation. He basically only survives various situations because of his plot armor.

The author is also guilty over using adjectives. Archaon cant just think about something... He has to have "dark thoughts" about something. Everything gets at least one or two edgy adjectives, even when its something completely mundane.

I dropped. The book with just 4 hours left. I can only tolerate a main character being so stupid before the story becomes unbelievable. The first book was decent, this book should be avoided.

They made Archaon stupid

I found this book to be too predictable. The first book in the series was more to my taste. But none of them are among the best from Black library.

Not to my taste

Story is very poorly written, my guess is that it was cranked out too quickly or editor waved it by as it was in the fantasy line and has a lower quality threshold.

Badly written
