Such a Refreshing Reversal

It's not every book that Mrs. Blake writes with the female being the dominant partner so I was curious how'd this play out with King Kash. It was a beautiful story with all the complexity I expected. As usual, I am enthralled with every book she writes.

You won't want to miss this one!

I have been looking forward to Kash's story ever since we first met him way back when. I was not disappointed. Kash is an interesting King. He is very human. In other words, he has issues just like everyone else in this amazing world of Masters and Mercenaries does. He just happens to be royalty, like that would make any difference to anyone at Sanctum, or Mckay/Taggart. He is just one of the guys. It just added more issues. I loved learning about Kash's country and some of their customs. Not to mention more of his story. Like the love of his life. That was so fun. You won't want to miss this one. Narration. Ryan West is fabulous! Not only does he have a voice to td die for, but he has a thousand and one voices. I had no problem figuring out who was speaking. It was that good. I will have to find more books narrated by him. He is good!

Not for me

I love this author and listened most of her books. This story didn’t do it for me. I had a hard time connecting with the main characters and didn’t care for the sex scenes. After six chapters, I gave up and went straight to the last chapter. I just wanted to see how this story end. I didn’t like the end either. I gave high overall rating because I thought the writing was good, just not the story. Also it was told in 3 POV which I didn’t like. The performance was excellent and will definitely listen more from him.

Great story-line AND Great Narration!!!

Great action/adventure story rolled up in a fantastic romance.
This book is especially insightful about the psychology of the submissive male and Dominant female.
The characters are exceptionally well written giving us extraordinary and more detailed D/s insight than is usually found in a romance novel.
