Captivating

I am 54 and this story has had my full attention since the opening paragraph of the first book in the series. There have been so many twists and turns and unexpected events in this story. This series is an exploration of humanity and the will to survive. It is an examination of the human condition of emotions, friendship, empathy and of our own mortality. The cliffhanger has me hooked. I highly recommend this series. I can't wait to listen/read the final book and the conclusion.

these stories (4 in the series) kept me awake during a very difficult 2000 mile trip. it worked. light enough but engaging!
