When widowed Amelia Smith takes a fallen soldier into her household, she is shocked to discover he has no idea who he is. Determined to help him recover his memory, she embarks on a journey that will change and endanger them both.

Working out whom and what he is brings back painful memories to Marco. The only constant in his life is his burning desire to take revenge on those who tried to steal everything from him. As his memories return, he needs Amelia Smith's calm good sense more than he ever anticipated. Can a relationship begun in such an unorthodox fashion blossom into love? Especially when the lady is hiding secrets of her own.

Really enjoyed this read!! All the books were great. If I could have changed anything it would have been the ending of the last one. It needed to be longer!! Hated to see it end!

Great series

Didn’t shy away from difficulties associated with soldiers living through wartime or captivity, the relationships were well balanced, and the females were strong without giving up their femininity. The characters had flaws and love blossomed in spite of them.

Great series!

The first book and this book were great, except for the sex scenes, which were completely unnecessary! I skipped over them. The second book, which was only an hour or so long about Michael, who is in the wheelchair, was completely about sex and nothing else, I would skip. However, this one and the first book were not only love stories, but also, postwar espionage, which was intriguing. I won’t be seeking out books from this author, because of the sexual content. The narration was very good and I would definitely listen to more books read by this narrator.

This was good….

I love this series! Each book has a unique storyline but it is still very intertwined with the previous stories. I especially love that the author does not retell the entire previous book!!

Great series

Necessary I suppose to finish the main characters we know so far. It felt rushed like Marcus really had to be forced to have a story. The ending was interesting to say the least.
Good narration. Listen while it’s part of audible escape.

Well. Not as good as the others
