The full weight of the Terran Confederacy of Aligned Systems, long awaited, is finally arriving in Unified Council Space. Despite the original deployment having been sent to fight the Unified Council, things have changed drastically in the time it took the military forces to cross the Confederacy and the Long Dark.

The Atrekna have arrived, the Precursor Autonomous War Machines have rebuilt, refit, and returned with new stratagems, and the Lanaktallan Unified Council has activated the remaining hundreds of millions of ships to try to hold off the Confederacy's vaunted Heavy Metal forces. Old favorites and new introductions continue the chronicle of the Second Precursor War as the war continues and the casualties mount.

it's improved

the earlier chapters problems of garbled words and butchered speech is gone for the most part but some of the binary jokes lose theirs shine when spoken over the course of 30-90 seconds. I absolutely loved the greenie officer's insult. also that terrains have infected other species marines with meme and dick drawings.

The story is excellent. This is hyf Sci fi and pop culture done right!

The mispronounced names. I mean, yeah, aliens, but it's having trouble with common sci fi names...
