The unthinkable has happened to the Lanaktallan. Dreams of Something More has overseen the surrender of the Unified Civilized Council but the war is still rages on between the Precursor Autonomous War Machines, the Atrekna, and the Terran Confederacy. The Atrekna and the PAWM are pushing their advantage while the Confederate war machine reels back from the horrendous losses taken during the Terran Extinction Event.

General P'Kank oversees the defense of Hesstla, Brentili'ik welcomes home Telkan who are far more than lost and makes a shocking discovery that rocks her personal life. Smokey 'No finds himself with the toughest job, overseeing combat troops waiting for redeployment. Vuxten is trying to adapt to a promotion and schooling. The Atrekna, having made great strides in expanding rapidly, have captured a live subject for examination, leaving Lady Keena trapped, but not alone, on an Atrekna research station.

The war still rages on as the chubby duck has not taken the stage to sing.

But in the shadows, Terran history is reaching out to drag everyone into a very roomy grave as Dee, Daxin, and Dhruv make plans that will rock the galactic spur.

This entire series has such captivating storytelling. The narrator is ai voice, so alot of the subtle jokes are misdelivered, but I won't fault this audiobook for that. I can't wait for the next release of Behold Humanity.

Fantastic Story
