The Formorians, led by the gigantic Queens, have breached humanity's last line of defense.

Elaine – now Sentinel Dawn – and the rest of the Sentinels need to rush to the front lines to attempt to stabilize the situation and bring the 2500-year long war against the Formorians to a grand finale.

And yet, beyond them lurks an even greater danger.

What could've possibly driven the Formorian Queens and Royal Guards out of their lairs, into human territory? Will Elaine and the Sentinels have to pay a terrible price to save humanity? Or will civilization be smashed, and humans scattered to the winds? And what, exactly, are the Dragoneye Moons?

So a full marathon going on here. After taking a long time between books 1 and 2, I’m now sprinting through the series as if I’m on a deadline.

Elaine is getting more OP but that is to be expected with her accumulative stat point bonuses. Smart girl 😉 and she’s making the most of it.

Still goofy, precocious, loyal, socially awkward and ADHD as F. Gotta love her

Didn’t even stop between this and the next book

The main story has been pretty good. I know that the interludes with Iona will probably tie in to the story in the future, but I’m having a hard time enjoying them over the last couple of books.

The main character was isekai’d when she was 20. In this book, she is now 19. That’s effectively 39 years of life, yet she still acts, in some situations, like she is 12. Her levels, stats, and capabilities are all increasing, but her self awareness over certain things, particularly mundane social interactions is crazy. It’s stated that she is introverted, but you don’t have to be a social butterfly to know that you shouldn’t be rude to strangers.

Other than seeming to not grow up mentally, the story is written well and is captivating and engaging.

Interesting story so far

There’s no takeaways from the book, but what happened to the chapter titles? Otherwise one of my favorites!

Fantastic

I don't care about the ancillary character at all. Why are we wasting valuable storytelling time on this annoyance

otherwise the book is great
