Great narrator!

This book was okay. I'm all for vampire romances, but wow, it was so short! However, the story was performed wonderfully. The narrator is great and has a good range of voices.

enjoyed it

I enjoyed the story for the most part, right up until the "insta love" right at the end - it felt rushed.
Johnny Mack did a great job on the narration.

johnny Mack rocked it again he had me hooked

Kira sees something she doesn't want to with her boss. They send her on leave . Big mistake she comes back raring and ready for them. So need to get this.

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoyed the concept of the story. I like that it was a mystery on the who what when and where and that it kept me wondering if some things were really happening or if they were just a dream or what.

Which character – as performed by Johnny Mack – was your favorite?

Kyra of course. All of her friends were great too and i liked that Johnny Mack didn't try too hard for the girl voices and everything flowed smooth with their talking. i didn't care much for the vampire voice, it seemed just trying to hard for the deep smooth confident voice that is expected out of a vampire, but overall i really enjoyed the narration.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed really hard near the end at the benefit, but other than that i really didn't have an extreme reaction. I would have preferred a little more actual vampires in the story and i really wasn't feeling any romance in the book.... yea, the vampire was sexy/smooth/hard to resist/etc.... but where was the romance? sex one night and a few forgotten conversations?

Cute short story

I really enjoyed this short story. it was just the right size for a quick listen through on the weekend. Johnny Mack has a really nice voice that lent itself to the story :). I will check out more of the authors work.
