Suzanne Wright is always an instant buy for me and this new series didn’t disappoint.

In this book we meet Emberlyn, one of the granddaughter of the wickedest witches in town, She had to learn very early that the best way to protect herself from the rest of the town is by making them fear her. When Emberlyn’s grandmother dies, it’s time to find out will inherit the family estate , it becomes an all our battle between her and the rest of her family.

Emberlyn Is a very morally grey character. While she’s not the dark witch by any stretch of the imagination, she will do what she needs to protect herself and the few she holds dear.

Jax 'Ripper' Stone, An alpha of one of the neighboring wolf packs , is an interesting MMC. He is actually kind of a hidden cinnamon roll. Very hard on the ourside, he is incredibly delicate to his pa k and everyone who sees it under his protection Which now thanks too Emberlyn’s grandmother she is.

I really enjoyed the story. I love the banter between the characters the twist and turns that are their own along the way in the chemistry is all on point. I would definitely recommend this to any paranormal fans.

And as always, Cat Doucette did an amazing job with a narration.

Can't go wrong with Wright

Thoroughly enjoyed the first book in Wright's new series and cannot wait to see what comes next. Black Willow Witch stars Wright's signature badass FMC and irresistible MMC with a whole lot of sparks in between them. I was interested to see how the new series would differ from Wright's others and I was not disappointed. It felt like a mix between her shifters, demons and angels series but had its own magic so it didn't read like a repeat of the others. I will say though, until I got a better sense of the characters I did have trouble not comparing to the characters in The Dark in You and Devi's Cradle mostly because they're all voiced by Cat Doucette, who is great. Just took a little but to separate the stories for me.

My queen of paranormal romance has done it again! I absolutely loved Black Willow Witch. I hope we get many more books set in this new world.

I absolutely loved this audiobook! Suzanne Wright has done it again with another badass FMC with a Adoring yet rugged and rough around the edges MMC to match. If you are looking for a no nonsense brimming with self confidence FMC who drives her destiny down the path she chooses please read any of Suzanne Wrights series because she always delivers. This audiobook is narrated by Cat Doucette who also narrates Suzanne Wrights burn series so I knew she would do a great job with this book as well, which she did! Suzanne Wright remains a autobuy, autoread, auto five-star for me.
