An edge of your seat thrill ride, Blood Moon Apocalypse will grab you from the first sentence and never let go.

The moon fell dark before the world was cloaked in crimson—before the world changed forever.

On the East Coast of the United States, Christopher Knight’s world divided when the blood moon rose. Shattered and torn, he lost almost everything and everyone he loved. Clinging to a shred of hope, he survived the first night of the changed world—a world that saw most people driven mad, transformed into bloodthirsty murderous husks of human beings. He learned he’d need to draw upon his every last reserve and every ounce of training to find his fourteen year old son. Having not seen another person unaffected by the moon, the chances seemed remote at best. With the mysterious arrival of a four-legged friend, he can’t help but feel that the creature is more than an ordinary dog, that it is a beacon of light guiding him toward his son, and showing him how to navigate the new world.

On the West Coast of the United States, twenty year old twin brother and sister Tyler and Taylor Smith feared they were the only two people who remained unchanged after the night the blood moon rose. Surviving the new world seemed an impossibility until they realized they possess abilities they never dreamed possible. They soon learned that there are others out there like them, and that all hope is not lost.

Across the United States, an evil even more dangerous than the mindless savages the moon created lurks on the horizon. An evil so dark, the unaffected survivors of the world will need to band together to battle, for a war has been waged. Who will win and survive life after the blood moon apocalypse? Find out …

The overall story was not bad. I listened til the end. I have a lot of questions bc a lot was left open ended. I feel like the next one the series with a good narrator would bring things together and definitely give new life to the story.

Liked the book over all. Can't wait for another. Visual Voice SUCKS. Doesn't pronounce names the same every time. Has no feeling and no change of character voice. John sounds the same as Mary for example. Mary's voice is not higher pitched.

I like these types of stories.
