Amazing

I think this may be my first review on here. I enjoy plenty of audiobooks, have one on for background listening with any task im doing. Yet I have never felt compelled to leave a review up until today.
This series was unique, built a complex storyline and character development. It spoke of numerous social issues and really made you feel like a part of the story.
It was heartbreaking at times while at the same time building hope and making you wish for more for the characters. It didn’t try to sugar coat the rough and jagged pieces of each character, instead showing the reader how those jagged pieces fit together to create a chosen family.
Absolute perfection. Cannot wait for more from this author.

Favorite of both ‘24 & ‘25

I read the kindle version of this and the first book last year, and have missed the characters, story, and love endlessly. So this year I listened to it, and I love it just as much the second time. Ally North is an easy favorite.
