Chemistry!!!

So many things to say. I loved the narration. The female voice was believable and the supporting characters were a bonus. The story held my attention from beginning to end and some of that is due to the delivery. This story was definitely a good one. Can't wait to hear the next one.

Dumb and Dumber

For a couple of supposedly sophisticated,professional adults,they sure do fly by the seat of their pants in serious decision making.I don’t blame Mr.Stonehsven for not trusting his son to run his company if he’s using it to seduce all his personal helpers only to get them fired,then making poor decisions on using company funds for his own personal reasons.What kind of friend is Carol too for practically instigating meet times between Rebacka and the man-wh#re anyway.Rebacka just got out of a relationship with a different man-wh#re,you gonna shove her or encourage her to fall for another one.Narrator was fine,story was a bit half baked.

Sweet & Seductive

Nick and Becca's story was a series of coincidence sprinkled with the dust of fate.

I found myself laughing and swooning, entertained until the very end. Not especially angsty or drama filled, more light and flowing.
I literally listened to this one from the second I downloaded until it was over.

Gary Furlong did a great job at narrating. I do wish that they would have had dual narration for this one. It was difficult to remember if it was a Becca chapter or a Nick chapter but I know this would not be Gary's fault and I felt like he did a fantastic job with what he was given.

Although I was given a copy of this audiobook by Audiobook Boom, it in no way influenced my review.

3.5 Stars Sweet Push and Pull Romance

Nicholas and Rebecca meet on a cross country flight and there is instant chemistry. Rebecca is moving to New York to escape an embarrassing public break up and to start a new career. Nicholas is the son of a powerful businessman and returns home to New York to find that his father has arranged an engagement between Nicholas and the daughter of an important investor.

They end up in an awkward position because Rebecca’s new job is working as Nicholas’ assistant, and Nicholas tries to fight his attraction to Rebecca while trying to appease his father. I enjoyed the constant pushing and pulling each other closer and then away again. It was an entertaining story told from dual POV’s.

This was my first time listening to a book narrated by Gary Furlong but I don’t think it’ll be my last. His voice is sexy and he does a hot alpha male. He also manages a decent feminine voice so he handles the dual POV’s well. His performance was an easy 4 stars, maybe even 4.5.

Loved this story. It has the handsome rich man and the curvy girl the love and hot steamy pull we all like.
