Breakneck Hockey is the third book in the Heartbreak Hockey series. This is Casey and Sutter’s book. We got glimpses of them in the last two books. I was so excited to finally get their book. Casey is codependent in almost a toxic way. He doesn’t like being left alone. He depends on his twin brother and friends to always be there. He would try to push Sutter away , to see if Sutter would always come back. Sutter is overly protective of his people. Both have traumatic memories of loss. They both lost a parent in a traumatic way. They both play for rival hockey teams. They are always known for getting in to fights on the ice. I love their connection. They both need each other to survive. Can’t wait for the next book.

Oliver Highpoint and Sebastian York did a fantastic job narrating this book.

Great hockey rivals romance!

This is the first book I read by the author and I loved it! This rivals to lovers hockey romance had everything! From the intense chemistry, banter, found family trope, and top tier spice.

Casey and Mitch were perfect for each other. I loved the soft only for him vibe and how they fought their feelings. I think making them long time rivals was a great part to their story too.

I can’t wait to go and read the other books in the series.

🎧 Audiobook review: Sebastian York and Oliver Highpoint were perfect! They were a great pairing and really brought the characters to life.

Excellent story and narrators.

This passionate story and the way it is told by the narrators make this long book an addiction you won’t be able to stop listening to. It’s a very captivating romance with some unusual kinks that are not for everybody but are totally acceptable and not something to turn away from. The narrators are excellent and totally make you fall in love with the men. I highly recommend it. So worth your time and money.

M/M Hockey Goodness

Gosh I freaking loved this. Mitch and Casey aka Sutter and Alderchuck (bc duh, hockey guys go by their last names) were true enemies at the beginning of this, constantly getting in brawls on the ice. Then they meet up thanks to an app and next thing you know we are blessed with tons of hot AF hookups 🥵 the spice was perfection and plenty, but you also get a lot more emotion and depth than you may expect when the guys open up about their pasts, and it made for a perfect balance to keep me invested in their happiness through. Sutter was a jealous and possessive a$$ but dang did I love it! Alderchuck needed someone who could tame his storm and Sutter was the gruff man for the job. Obsessed with these two 2! I listened to the ALC and both narrators were fantastic and truly captured each characters quirks, emotions, and humor perfectly. Sutter in the spicy scenes? So hot to hear 🙌

This is a five star narration team! Perfectly cast for these guys - the internal monologues are standout and Oliver Highpoint really delivered on the bombastic riot of thoughts for Casey and made me love his character. Unforgettable!!!
Sebastian York was excellent as usual and did not dissapoint ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I know this sounds insane but there might be too much 🌶🌶 🫣
