War is coming.

Ryan Rosa has built something special in New Realm Online: the most advanced VR game ever. But it isn't a perfect world.

Enemy guilds have started to target their friends. Ryan is going to have to work hard to protect his new friends. After re-rolling his original character, Ryan has started to find his groove. With the help of his crazy friends, he is going to protect what is his.

This book contains the classic LitRPG elements of leveling, dungeons, terrifying killer bunnies, crafting, and community building.

Gets better each story

I’m still pretty new to audiobooks. I only recently started using audible, this past December 2025. LitRPGs are also a newer genre for me that I have really been enjoying. With that out of the way, I have found another great series with this one.

The Narration makes this story, the story itself is good, I would say my only real gripe about it is the fact that is sometimes moves very quickly, like Ryan being LVL 15 at one point and two chapters later at 20. That’s a little exaggerated but just want to get the point across. The action is great! The fighting is greatly detailed and I can easily throw the movie on in my head. Love interests and small story lines like that aren’t huge but in this book and though they are there, they don’t take up a bunch of story space. The author is able to put those sort of interests into the readers mind just enough to add something to the story, but not so much to distract from the real meat of the story, the battles. Some of the battles are short, but I like it! They are great in detail and worded nicely. All-in-All, I definitely like the series and I will definitely be reading them all.

Lastly though, if there was a narrator that wasn’t so good as MacLeod Andrew’s doing the reading, this book wouldn’t have caught me so well and it would have been one I would have rather read myself. Narrators make all the difference in these books, especially LitRPGs.

Sk well done. One of the more satisfying LitRPG series out there, IMO. Andrews' narration is superb, as always!

Fantastic follow-up!
