This was a cute story for sure

If you want a cute slow burn romance with a side of homicide, you’ll like this. It wasn’t your typical storyline— not everything was predictable. I’d say it’s worth the listen.

Marika is. A successful immigration lawyer who is deeply wounded by life. Rhiannon is her new assistant who is reclusive and has no reason to trust anyone. When a malicious woman decides to pursue Marika they are both forced to flee for their lives. A group of strong women prove to be the secret to fighting evil. Great suspense drama and romance. Great author.

Exciting and captivating!

Terrific story. Well written with intricate plot twists. Anastasia does a great job with narration per usual making the story even more intense and compelling

A slow burn with twists, but worth listening too. Love the support that was built around the main characters.

A capturing book

I loved this book, the characters were so well created, the tension was exactly how I like it.
It was funny that David the priest was nick named Ichabod, I know hwy he was named like that, but the meaning of the word in Hebrew is “a man with no honor” and he was so honorable.
Narration was wonderful, and that is so important especially in great books, because narration can build up or destroy a book.
