Just ok

I didn't dislike it, but definitely won't re-listen. Needed more romance, also Anna was kind of annoying. Narrator was good, had a range of voices that were easy to distinguish.

Somewhat dull

No reason shows up in the story that makes you think these women are falling in love or should fall in love. All circumstances are out of convenience and not convincing at all. I really tried, but even listening to Abbey C. read it, I did not enjoy it.

Great story

Narrator has a pretty voice but, her narration could be better. Too bad, because Emily Banting always writes a great story.

cute

This was a cute book. Not the most exciting, but cute all the same. Light beach read.

Enjoyed this story

I enjoyed this story although Anna at times was a little too stubborn for her own good. Catherine needed to be more upfront instead of trying to be protective without telling the truth. but the two make a really good couple if they can get past everything that's happening to them. If you're looking for spice you will not find it in this story. While a little bit of mature content is in this book, it is not explicit, and it can only be R rated.
