Great book…

It was well written but the virtual voice drives me to brandy ;) listen to understand

Lack of Narration

This could be such a good story but the lack of real narration ruined it. The story itself has so much nuance that ended up “lost in translation”

Could have been…

This book could’ve been great and I wouldn’t have even noticed it because the choice to go with a computer generated voice. No emotion weird pauses and couldn’t tell the difference in between the two characters. Only finished listening to it because I refuse to DNF.

The story was sweet. The characters were stubborn but it was sweet.

The robot narrator sucked. I felt like I was on hold with a call center. It was tough to connect emotionally

Nice story, awful narration

I stuck with it because I liked the story, but AI narration is horrendous. Incorrect pronunciations, awkward and incorrect pauses and emphases really distracted from the story, but I was determined to hear the whole thing. I won’t make the narration mistake again!
