However, no one will be rejoicing when this investigation is over, and it's unlikely anyone from the police department will ever be the same again.

Did not disappoint

I've followed this series from the beginning and each book brings something new to the mix. I look forward to each book. On to this one; I was surprised the death was so violent in this one but it did not take away from the story. Clint and Susan never seem to get any sleep. Poor Melvin got a bigger role in this story. Take a chance and you'll enjoy.
